HOPE VALLEY OUTDOORS is a winter resort offering our customers the best in outdoor recreational opportunities! If you're looking for cross-country skiing, backcountry skiing, snowshoeing, rentals, lessons, and even guided tours, Hope Valley Outdoors can provide experienced information for just about all your outdoor needs.
Our location is just a few minutes east of Kirkwood Ski Resort on Highway 88, at Pickett's Junction at the intersection of Hwy 88/89. We have a lovely Yurt set up during the winter. We are a short drive out to Grover Hot Springs in Markleeville. Lodging and camping are all nearby, and we are open Thanksgiving through Easter. Our opening and closing dates depend on the snow conditions
