Snowshoeing
We have about 60 miles of snowshoe trails. Our trails visit a variety of terrain. You can go through beautiful forests or into quiet meadows. You could climb one of our ten thousand foot peaks, if you have the energy. We also offer guided tours into some of our favorite spots. We offer Full Moon tours as well. Mark Vollmer Snowshoe Photo Tour
Private guided snowshoe tour:
11/2 hour tour. Includes quality snowshoes and guide. $60 By appointment.This tour is custom tailored to each group. We create a tour based on what our guests want to do. We can follow a meandering river or visit a pristine meadow. We have seen Eagles, Osprey, Herons, and even a Bobcat on our tours. We can offer guidance on how to be effecient and comfortable on snowshoes.
Moonlight Snowshoe tour:
$20.00 Come and join us for a beautiful night in the moonlight. We will be followed by our moon shadows dancing and prancing. Meet at the Yurt at 6pm then return 8:00ish, be sure to have dinner before heading out. You are more than welcome to bring a thermos of your favorite hot drink.
